Mike Figgis
Mike Figgis is a writer, director and composer. He has directed over 19 feature films and documentaries as well as a number of television episodes and most recently, the world's first live 3D opera for the ENO, Lucrezia Borgia. Figgis was a pioneer in exploring the possibilities of digital video technology which led him to conceive of and direct Timecode which created an ensemble film shot simultaneously with four cameras all in one take and also presented simultaneously and uncut, dividing the screen into four quarters. His work output is almost exclusively on the cutting edge of creative digital filmmaking.
