Megan Cassidy

Megan Cassidy is Wardrobe Manager at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. She first realised her passion for the theatre during a second-year internship at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, in the course of her fashion degree. After a period working in costume for various television shows and theatrical productions in Ireland, Megan moved to London in 2006, where she was hired by Disney Theatrical as Wardrobe Deputy on The Lion King musical. In 2008, Megan began her career at the Globe as a Wardrobe Assistant, and was promoted to Wardrobe Manager in 2012. During this time, she worked on over 50 productions, including the Original Practices stagings of Richard III and the Olivier and Tony award-winning Twelfth Night, which she had the pleasure of taking to Broadway in 2014 for a highly-acclaimed run. Megan has also worked on productions for the English National Opera and the Young Vic over the years. In 2014 she won a Technical Theatre Award for Outstanding Achievement in Wardrobe for her work at the Globe.
