Caroline Criado Perez

Caroline Criado Perez is a freelance writer, campaigner and consultant. She was featured in the Independent on Sunday’s Happy List 2013, and won the Liberty Human Rights Campaigner of the Year Award 2013. In 2015 she was named an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. Her first book, Do It Like A Woman was published by Portobello Books in May 2015. Her second book, Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men was published in March 2019 by Chatto & Windus (UK) and Abrams (US). Caroline is a prolific and successful user of social media for social change. She has directed or advised on a number of high-profile campaigns, including the campaign for a statue of Millicent Fawcett in Parliament Square and the campaign to keep a woman on English banknotes.
