Elizabeth Kolbert is the author of Field Notes from a Catastrophe: Man, Nature, and Climate Change and The Sixth Extinction, for which she won the Pulitzer Prize. For her work at the New Yorker, where she's a staff writer, she has received two National Magazine Awards and the Blake-Dodd Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Under a White Sky has been shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize for Writing on Global Conservation. Kolbert lives in Williamstown, Massachusetts, with her husband and children. Her latest book H is for Hope: Climate Change from A to Zis published by Oneworld in April 2024.

David Wallace-Wells is editor-at-large of New York magazine, where he writes frequently about climate change and the near future of science and technology. David’s first book, The Uninhabitable Earth, was selected as a Book of the Year 2019 by the Sunday Times, Spectator and New Statesman. It was a Waterstones Paperback of the Year and shortlisted for the Foyles Book of the Year 2019. It was also longlisted for the PEN / E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award
