Claudia Hammond
Our host

Claudia Hammond is an award-winning broadcaster and author who shares the ways that psychological and medical research can help us in our everyday lives. Claudia is the presenter of several podcasts and radio shows including All in the Mind on BBC Radio 4 which covers psychology, neuroscience & mental health and the weekly global health show Health Check on BBC World Service. Her new book, The Keys to Kindness, is about the power of being kind to others and ourselves, and how kindness can enhance our mood.


Dr. Rupy Aulja
Nutrition

Dr. Rupy Aujla is an NHS medical doctor whose life was changed when he suffered a significant heart condition. Since learning more about nutritional medicine and doing a deep dive into the literature he was able to reverse his condition using a food and lifestyle approach. In 2015 he started the Doctor’s Kitchen as a way of teaching everybody how they can cook their way to health and to showcase the beauty of food and medicinal effects of eating and living well. He is a Sunday Times bestselling author, and his fourth cookbook, COOKS, is published in January 2023.


Hannah Critchlow
Mind

Dr Hannah Critchlow is a neuroscientist with a grounding in neuropsychiatry. She is a Science Outreach Fellow at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge and demystifies the human brain using Radio, TV and Festival platforms. Hannah’s first book Consciousness: A LadyBird Expert, was published in the summer of 2018, and her second book The Science of Fate was published in May 2019 to critical acclaim. She has been part of the 2018 Wellcome Trust Science Book Judging Panel, and in 2017 she co-presented the BBC Tomorrow's World Live interactive science series. In 2014 Hannah was named as a Top 100 UK scientist by the Science Council for her work in science communication. In 2013 she was named as one of Cambridge Universities ‘inspirational and successful women in science’. During her PhD she was awarded a Cambridge University Fellowship and as an undergraduate received three University Prizes as Best Biologist. Hannah’s choice of career stemmed from working as a Nursing Assistant at St Andrews Psychiatric Hospital.

Over the last six years she has transformed a simple food blog into a wellness community, posting inspiring content across her channels to help her fans to 'Get The Glow’ by taking a balanced and holistic approach to their health.


Nicola Elliott

Nicola Elliott is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of luxury wellbeing brand NEOM Organics. After spending seven hectic years working 60 hour weeks as an editor for Glamour magazine, Nicola noticed her wellbeing was being affected by the demands of modern life. This realisation kick started Elliott’s wellbeing journey and she launched NEOM in 2005. Since its launch, helping people get better sleep has been part of their mission, recently releasing their Perfect Night’s Sleep Plan.
