Grace Ofori-Attah

Grace was born in Glasgow, raised in Yorkshire and now lives in London. She read Medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford and currently works as a Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist in central London. At university she could often be found writing stories in the college library and discovered a love of screenwriting four years ago. Grace was selected as the first ever Writer’s Apprentice for Carnival Film & Television in 2017 and was also selected for the Channel 4 Talent 4Screenwriting 2017 course. In March 2017 Grace was included on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist as a writer to watch out for. Grace co-wrote five episodes of Idris Elba’s debut comedy series IN THE LONG RUN, and also has the only solo writing credit of the series on episode 4. The series, which recently aired on Sky One, won Best Comedy Programme at the 2018 Broadcast Digital Awards. Grace was recently selected for BAFTA Elevate’s 2018 writers' initiative and she is currently working on a number of script commissions including her first feature film.
